This week brings the final episode of Star Trek: Discovery‘s third season “That Hope Is You Part 2” and what might possibly be the last live-action Star Trek of this year due to the pandemic that until recently had halted all production on the franchise. With Discovery’s fourth season underway and both Strange New Worlds and Picard set to start in February it will be a long while until we see these shows hit our screens.

In last weeks episode “There Is A Tide“, We lost our newest favourite Andorian Ryn (Noah Averbach-Katz) who was executed by Osyraa’s (Janet Kidder) for finally standing up to her, Discovery veteran Kenneth Mitchel returned to our screens as the human scientist Aurellio, we found out exactly what replicated food is made from, and we saw Michael Burnham (Sonequa Martin-Green) rescue Stamets to stop the chain from being able to use the spore drive.

In this weeks episode, The crew along with the Sphere’s Data AI Zora (Annabelle Wallis, Calypso) joins the effort to combat the chain, retake the ship and save what is left of the Federation and Starfleet.

Also this week, back in the Verubin Nebula, Saru (Doug Jones), Culber (Wilson Cruz) along with Adira (Blu del Barrio) and Gray (Ian Alexander) must find a way to reach the terrorised Kelpien responsible for The Burn, Su’Kal (Bill Irwin), before the lethal radiation inside claims their lives.
