Discovery S3 – EP6 – “Scavengers” – Burnham & Georgiou Go AWOL – Photos, Synopsis & More

We are now entering the second half of Discovery’s third season, and things are heating up…

In last week’s episode “Die Tyring” the crew finally re-joined the fleet and were tasked with finding the U.S.S. Tikhov, the Federations version of Svalbard Global Seed Vault to find a cure to the dying group of Keli refugees.

Upon arriving at the Tikhov the crew found what they needed and returned back to Starfleet HQ while one beloved character remained behind, Commander Nahn (Rachael Ancheril) decided to remain to safeguard the Federation’s history and to make sure that the Tikhovs first Barzan watch was completed successfully.

In this week’s episode “Scavengers” the ship undergoes a refit, and the crew are tasked as Starfleet’s “Rapid Responders” due to the Spore Drive being able to transport them anywhere in seconds.

However, when Burnham (Sonequa Martin-Green) receives a distress signal from Book (David Ajala), her and Georgiou (Michelle Yeoh) to leave on an unauthorized mission to save her friend.

Also, in this episode we get to see more of Gray, the former host to Tal.
