CBS have just confirmed what many of us knew already, the adventures of the U.S.S. Discovery are set to continue as CBS All Access’s flag ship show has just been renewed for a FORTH season.
Set to start production on November 2nd 2020 in their home of Toronto, the show’s cast and crew are eager to get going again.
In the announcement video release today, both Sonequa Martin-Green and Doug Jones expressed how excited they are to return to filming.
Oh my goodness, I am so excited to be back on set – Sonequa Martin-Green
I am looking forward to the one thing, I always most look forward to, when we get to come back for another season of Star Trek: Discovery, and that is to be reunited with my family again – Doug Jones
Just recently show lead and head Star Trek man Alex Kurtzman said in a podcast with The Hollywood Reporter Top 5 that filming would be a challenge but they are making sure all the cast and crew remain COVID secure.
Because of the long delay between seasons 2 and 3, there were rumours abound such as that Alex Kurtzman himself had been fired, that the sets had been torn down and that all future shows had been cancelled, the news of the renewal just goes to show…
No matter how many times people seem to want this show to end it just comes back swinging… OH and that you should not believe the lies of others…
