Star Trek: Picard – Episodes Five and Six Complete

With all the buzz about Comic-Con this past week it is no surprise that this awesome piece of news seems to have passed without much noise, but…

The filming of the third block of Picard (fifth and sixth episode) wrapped its filming yesterday meaning that they are now moving on to shooting the forth block of episodes.

Maja Vrvilo, who has directed the Short Treks episode “Runaway” and Discovery’s season two episode “Perpetual Infinity” posted on Instagram that she had wrapped filming her segment of the Picard series.

Vrvilo is the second female director to direct the new series, with the pilot being directed by Hanelle M. Culpepper.

With Frakes wrapping his segment up four weeks ago, it looks like all steam ahead.
