Firstly, I would like to apologise as in my previous articles I gave you the wrong information on the amount of Lego pieces required to build the Delta flyer and the Rio Grande. The Delta Flyer is made up of 76 pieces, the Rio Grande is made up of 104.

This week we look at the USS Cerritos NCC – 75567, this California Class Starship under the command of Captain Carol Freeman and is regularly seen on Star Trek: Lower Decks, here we see the adventures of Boimler, Mariner, Tendi and Rutherford. This is another design created by MiniTrekMocs and is made up of 122 pieces of Lego.

Again, MiniTrecMocs has done a wonderful job of getting the look of the ship on such a small scale.

I think that you would need a little bit more experience with Lego to build this but not that much. The reason I say this is that you have a few more hinged pieces and can take a little time to get the nacelle & struts in the right position to put on the display piece.

The instructions were very clear and easy to follow. and these can be brought from HERE when you buy from him what you get is the following:

Step-by-step instructions

You are not getting the Lego pieces. You can purchase them from either BrickLink & Brick Owl. Using the CSV or XML file to create a ‘Wishlist’ of parts needed. You can then upload that Wishlist to the website. From there you will be able to get the pieces you require. (If you are wondering how to use the. XML file to order pieces I will be doing a tutorial very soon on how to do this.

This is still a reasonably priced kit to get and build. This is because it is still a small amount of Lego required. I will say that if you are in the UK you may have some difficulty getting the Medium Blue – Tile, Round 1 x 1 Half Circle Extended (Piece ID: 24246) and you may need to look abroad for it or find a similar colour and use that.

Don’t forget to look in your own Lego collection for pieces that you may have as this will always reduce your costs.

In summary, it is a good-looking build and I think that you would need a little bit more experience with Lego to build this but not that much. The reason I say this is that you have a few more hinged pieces and can take a little time to get the nacelle & struts in the right position to put on the display piece.

Give it a go and build it yourself and, I hope you enjoy building it.
