WDIM? – Strange New Worlds Cast and Character Details !!!

Hello Everyone and Welcome to What Did I Miss, where today I have some exciting casting news to share about the newest live-action entry into the Star Trek universe, the yet to be released series Strange New Worlds.  The show began filming this year and hopes to be done by the end of July, which means we can expect to see this new crew towards the beginning of 2022.  Of course, if that changes or if any other news comes out about any upcoming Star Trek projects I will report here, so be sure to hit that subscribe button so you are notified when my new videos come out.

I also ask that if you do enjoy this video please show your support by hitting that like button so that it can get out to more people to see it.  Speaking of the new crew, the five newest members of the U.S.S. Enterprise was introduced to the public, and I will go over each actor or actress as well as go over some casting details that were released last fall, as I think that we can link them up pretty easily.

(Paramount+) Melissa Navia, Celia Rose Gooding, Christina Chong, Babs Olusanmokun, & Jess Bush

One interesting detail about a member of this crew it that this character would be a reimagining of one of the crews seen during the episode “The Cage“, which in the timeline of Star Trek occurred at least 4 years before the events of this series, and I believe that I have determined which of these new cast members are said character.  I will also go over the three main characters, what we know about them at this stage of their life from their prior incarnations, and what developments we can expect to see with them over the seasons.  This is always more fun when I hear from you too, so let me know in the comments what you think of this cast and if you are excited about this new show.

OK, so let’s look at the new crew of Star Trek: Strange New Worlds, and what type of characters they could be playing…
