Hey everyone, Welcome Back to What Did I Miss? where I don’t know about you, but I can’t wait for the new series, Star Trek: Strange New Worlds to come out on Paramount +.
So I thought it would be fun to think up 5 different things that I want to see in Strange New Worlds based on the time period the series takes place in the show, which is less than 10 years before some Kirk guy will take over as captain. While little is known about the series, Alex Kurtzman has stated that the show will be much more like The Original Series, in that it will show the crew going from different adventures episode to episode and not have the overarching plotlines that are so prevalent in Star Trek: Discovery and Star Trek: Picard.
This means we will be getting a lot more villains of the week as well as see this crew briefly intersect with known points in the timeline of Star Trek. It is those events that I am going to focus on and try and guess as to which Strange New Worlds and characters this crew of the Enterprise will meet.
