Preview – Discovery 311 – “Su’Kal” – Synopsis, Photos & More…

After the explosive and emotional final part of “Terra Firma,” we are now in the last few episodes of Discovery’s third season and there are quite a few questions left to be answered and hopefully, some will be answered in episode 11 “Su’kal”.

Last week we said a tearful goodbye to the amazing Michelle Yeoh’s Emperor Georgiou in “Terra Firma Pt 2” which saw our loveable rogue part ways with Michael Burnham (Sonequa Martin-Green) after almost 3 seasons.

In the last moments of the episode, we found out that Carl (Paul Guilfoyle) was indeed the Guardian of Forever which first featured in the TOS episode “The City On The Edge Of Forever“. Something that many a fan had guessed way ahead of the spine-tingling reveal.

Having tested Georgiou to see if she was worthy of another chance at life Carl (The GOF) offered her a chance to journey back in time to a period where the Mirror and Prime universes where still in alignment which meant she would survive what was killing her and allow her to live the rest of her life.

This week the crew embark on a journey to finally reveal the cause of the burn. After receiving a distress call from the 100+-year-old Kelpien starship Khi’eth lost inside the Verubin Nebula which is the focal point of the burn. in the process of their investigation onboard the Khi’eth, both Burnham (Sonequa Martin-Green) and Culber (Wilson Cruz) experience something unique as they appear to turn into a Trill and a Bajoran…

Meanwhile, While Burnham and Culber are on the Khi’eth, the Discovery and her crew have an unexpected guest in the form of Osyraa (Janet Kidder) who returns in her flagship, the Veridian, to disrupt Discovery’s mission…
