It has been confirmed today, Discovery’s composer Jeff Russo is to score the upcoming Star Trek: Picard series starring Sir Patrick Stewart.
In a tweet sent out by the composer himself, Russo links to an article that ‘let the cat out of the bag’ and expresses how thrilled he is to be the composer for the new series due to hit screens in early 2020.

Russo has also scored season’s one and two of Star Trek: Discovery with the soundtrack for Discovery season two being released last week by Lakeshore Records to wide praise by fans of the show. The soundtrack features a total of 39 tracks, 36 tracks from season 2 and 3 bonus tracks from the ‘Short Treks: Escape Artist’
