Preview – Star Trek: Prodigy – “First Con-tact” – Synopsis & More!

Last weeks episode was one for the history books, not only did we get to see the delicious Enterprise D bridge again but we got cameos from some of Star Trek‘s best…

In the simulation of the vaunted Kobayashi Maru that Dal run on the holodeck he got to pick from some of Starfleets finest, this resulted in a long-awaited return of Beverly Crusher (Gates McFadden) to Trek after 24 years and using sound bites from previous shows we also saw the return of Uhura (Nichelle Nichols), and the dearly departed Leonard Nimoy (Spock) and René Auberjonois (Odo).

Along with the return of these iconic charters, we also learnt that the Protostar and her crew using the powerful “Proto Warp” engine has travelled 4000 light-years from the Delta Quadrant to the Gamma Quadrant, this is the first time that a show outside of Deep Space Nine will feature this area of the Milkyway…

We can only guess what is in store for our heroes as they enter the area of space that is home to the dreaded Dominion…

This Weeks Synopsis

When a mentor from Dal’s past persuades him to use their Federation cover for personal gain, they quickly discover Starfleet has protocols for a reason.
