After what seems like no time at all we are here at the finale of Discovery Season 4 with episode 13 titled “Coming Home” hitting our screens this week.
This Season So Far
This season has seen the crew come together under Captain Burnham (Sonequa Martin-Green) to solve the mystery of a spatial anomaly (the DMA) that has been destroying planets and systems throughout the Milkyway.
We have seen new members join the crew with the addition of Lt Christopher (Orville Cummings) and the departure of not one but two of our beloved crew as Lt Tilly (Mary Wiseman) who left to teach at the reopened Starfleet Academy and Cmdr. Brice (Ronnie Rowe Jr.) seemingly leave Discovery to work with Dr Kovich (David Cronenberg) and his team with their efforts to communicate beyond the galactic barrier.
Whether these departures are permanent or just temporary we will have to wait and see when season 5 lands on our screens.
Last Time On Discovery
Last week the crew finally establishes contact with the enigmatic species 10c desperately hoping to convey the need for them to stop using the DMA before it reaches Earth, Titan and Ni’Var.
However, just as the crew manages to open a dialogue with a member of 10c, Tarka (Shawn Doyle) enacts his dangerous plan to stop the DMA once and for all putting Discovery and the crew in danger.

Synopsis
